  5 of us turned up but they would only set a table for 4 as they couldn't accommodate a table of 5, even though there was plenty of space. I was made to stand while my party ate thier food. I was treated like an outcast and felt totally humiliated. I work for a huge hotel in the local area and my duties are to recommend guests to various restaurants for food. I will certainly not be recommending David's. I wouldn't be surprised if they see a drop in customers as a result.

  Two days ago, I went to this restaurant with one of my friends; at this moment we only fancied a few drinks, so I asked if that was ok. They did not seem very pleased at all, but reluctantly they said it was ok; however, we only had half an hour to have them because they were closing that area of the restaurant (one on the left with a few tables for two, but I guess that was a poor excuse because there were many other tables available on the right side). We decided to stay, anyway, and 10 minutes later one of the waitress sat a couple next to us; again a few minutes later, another couple came and they were offered a table next to us. We were surprised that happened after they were rushing and timing us to have our drinks in half an hour maximum! But of course, those couples wanted food not only drinks.... In the end, we did not tip the unfriendly and unkind waitresses and, earlier on that day, we were just talking about trying their pizzas before leaving but after that experience we better spent our money in a more friendly restaurant.

  Not very expensive but the food isn't great also the service not what you would expect. If you seat outside on the terrace you are just a few yards from the cars passing. The 4 options on the menu are nearly the same :) You'll find better options around with much better views&service at similar prices.
